One day

From the opening float to the evening backup.

  1. 01

    You open

The till session starts with the float counted. The month’s expiries and the day’s stockouts are already recomputed.

  2. 02

    You sell

From the keyboard: by PPA, by name, by barcode. The nearest-expiring batch leaves first, the régime decides the patient’s share, the ticket prints and the drawer opens.

  3. 03

    You receive

The wholesaler’s delivery note goes in from Excel or by hand. The foot discount is allocated, free goods counted, the PPA checked against décret 98-44.

  4. 04

    You file

The CHIFA bordereau is polled and its counter checked. What CNAS refused goes to a worklist, with its reason and its correction.

  5. 05

    You close

Expected cash against counted cash, variance explained past 100.00 DA, the day’s takings by régime — and the evening’s encrypted backup.

An 80 mm thermal ticket on your own letterhead, CHIFA share deducted, drawer open.
III.
The modules

Everything your current logiciel does.

You do not replace a counter system with a demo. Here is the whole list, module by module, under the name each one carries inside the product.

The counter

What stays open from morning to night, and has to work with the cable unplugged.

6
  • TillKeyboard selling — by PPA, name or barcode. Cash, CHIFA, CASNOS, credit, swap, mutual, military.
  • Held salesA basket put aside gets a row, instead of living in the pharmacist’s memory and on a bag.
  • ReturnsThe customer comes back: the batch returns to the shelf, the ticket is attached, the drawer is corrected.
  • InvoicingThe invoice for a clinic or a company, drawn from the sale instead of retyped.
  • Controlled registerThe book décret 19-379 obliges you to keep, kept through the day rather than the night before an inspection.
  • Ticket & drawerAn 80 mm thermal ticket on your own letterhead and a cash-drawer kick — or an A5 printed by the browser if you have no thermal printer.

The shelf

Stock exists only at batch level: article, batch number, expiry, PPA.

6
  • Medicines“Do we have it, and at what price” — the question asked twenty times a day, with a screen that answers it.
  • ExpiriesSorted by MONEY, not by date: a 40 DA box expiring tomorrow comes after a 60 000 DA box expiring in three months.
  • Batches & stocktakeCount the shelf sheet by sheet, apply the variance, and keep the trace of who counted what.
  • StockoutsRecomputed on every open, exported as a purchase order — and declarable to the public in one click, free.
  • LabelsBarcode shelf-edge labels, on a template you set to your own label stock.
  • My productsThe parapharmacy, cosmetics and infant formula the national register does not carry — stocked, counted, valued.

Supply

What arrives from the wholesaler, and what it actually cost you.

4
  • PurchasingInvoice, delivery note, product and financial credit notes — and the reconstructed PPA checked against the décret 98-44 bands.
  • Delivery-note importThe wholesaler’s Excel/CSV goes in as it is: columns mapped, lines reviewed, then applied.
  • SuppliersThe directory every purchase document, every stockout and every “who delivers this?” reads from.
  • ExchangesThe swap between pharmacies, kept on both sides: who owes what, and since when.

CHIFA

Third-party payment is money you advance. What matters is what comes back.

3
  • GatewayWe read CHIFA_OFFICINE’s database read-only, and never write to it.
  • RejectionsReason, correction, resubmission — and the indicators that say how much you actually recover.
  • Claim batchesThe counter is checked on every poll: drift between what CHIFA billed and what you believe you deposited shows the same day.

The money

What came in, what never came in, and where it went.

6
  • TodayThe day’s takings, the split by régime, expected cash against counted cash — variance explained past 100.00 DA.
  • Credit bookA credit sale opens a named tab, and the balance follows it.
  • Clients / Patients“How much does he owe me, and what did I give him?” — on one page instead of three screens and a join done in someone’s head.
  • TreasuryWhat the officine holds and what it owes — the question a titulaire loses sleep over and a till does not answer.
  • StatisticsRotation, margin, seasonality, six-month trends. What sells and what sleeps.
  • Activity journal“What happened on station 2 on Thursday?” — movements, sales, till sessions and rejections in one list.

The machine

The installation itself: the PCs, the people, and what happens the day something breaks.

6
  • StationsOne server, up to four counters on the officine’s own network. A stolen or resold PC is revoked, and its movements stay in the ledger.
  • UsersA code per employee and an author per act — without a single name ever leaving the officine’s PC.
  • BackupEncrypted, and with a preview of the contents BEFORE anything is overwritten.
  • RecoveryThe app opens empty and you believe it is all gone: a search finds your backups on the PC, wherever they are.
  • DuplicatesThe same product entered twice is surfaced, compared and merged — before the stock starts lying.
  • Officine settingsTicket header, roll width, printer, stock thresholds, label templates, import.

This list shows only what is in service today. Nothing here is announced, planned or under way.

IV.
The difference

And what yours does not.

La Passerelle CHIFA

We read CHIFA_OFFICINE’s own database

Read-only, and we never write to it. The bordereau counter is checked on every poll: silent drift between what CHIFA billed and what you believe you deposited is the third cause of loss in an officine, and it is the one nobody else detects.

Les Rejets

Recovering what CNAS refused

Every rejection follows a four-state machine, with its reason, its correction and its resubmission. Reconciliation against the bordereau balance equation, ageing, and the indicators that say how much you actually recover. A rejection nobody reworks is money you already advanced off your own shelf.

Le Stock

Expiries sorted by money, not by date

A 40 DA box expiring tomorrow comes after a 60 000 DA box expiring in three months — because the second one is what costs you. Stock exists only at batch level, FEFO deduction is automatic, and the stockout list is recomputed on every open then exported as a purchase order.

L'Achat

The supplier invoice that adds up

The foot-of-invoice discount is allocated line by line to give the true unit cost, free goods are counted, and the reconstructed PPA is checked against the décret 98-44 bands. A product credit note and a financial credit note are two different documents and behave like it. Excel/CSV import of the wholesaler’s delivery note, with margin and rounding when the file carries no public prices.

Les Postes

One server, up to four counters

The counters talk to the server over the officine’s own network, not to the internet. A stolen, resold or reimaged PC is revoked from Settings — and it is kept, never deleted, because the sales and movements it wrote must go on naming the machine that made them.

Le Coffre

Encrypted on disk, and bound to this machine

The officine’s database is encrypted at rest under a key Windows protects for this PC and no other: the disk out of a dead till, or the folder copied to a USB stick, opens nowhere else. Backups are encrypted too — and a restore shows you the file’s contents BEFORE anything is overwritten.

Les Ardoises

The names do not leave the counter

A credit sale opens a named tab and the balance follows it. But nominative fields — name, CHIFA card number, national ID — have no projector to the cloud: no code exists that could send them. That is a construction constraint, not a setting, and it is the strict reading of loi 18-07.

Doctavie

And what no local software can do

The prescription arrives from the prescriber before the patient does. A question about a dose goes back to the doctor who wrote it. The patient reserves before travelling, and your on-call turn is announced wilaya by wilaya on the site. No software installed on a counter PC can do any of that, because none of them is connected to anything.

V.
Switching

Move your officine across without closing for a day.

  1. 01

    Install

One .exe on the PC that will hold the database. The national medicines catalogue already ships inside the binary — you wait for no download to start selling.

  2. 02

    Bring the shelf in

Export a CSV from your current logiciel, map the columns, review the lines, apply. A full stocktake beats a partial import, and the screen shows you which before it writes.

  3. 03

    Plug CHIFA in

A wizard finds CHIFA_OFFICINE’s database on the machine, verifies the read-only link and maps it once and for all.

  4. 04

    Add the counters

Each station pairs with the server over the local network, each employee gets a code. The server alone keeps the database and drives the printer.

What it does not do

The four things we do not promise

No drug-interaction checking: we will open it when we hold a dataset whose provenance we can name. No promotions engine on medicines — décret 92-276 fixes their public price, so that is not a deferred feature but a forbidden one. No general accounting: we give your accountant better figures, not their job. And the CHIFA gateway needs Windows, because CHIFA_OFFICINE’s database is read through a driver that exists nowhere else.

VI.
Compare

Against what you run today.

We publish a comparison per vendor, with the source of every figure. A dash means “undocumented”, never “no”.

FAQ

01

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The officine application is a Windows install with its own database on the server PC: selling, stock and the till work with the cable unplugged. What does need the network — inbound prescriptions, cloud invoicing — says so on screen rather than failing.

02

How many machines can I install it on?

One server — the machine that holds the database and drives the printer — and up to four counters on the officine’s own local network. Stations are listed in Settings, and a stolen, resold or reimaged PC is revoked from there.

03

Do you really read CHIFA_OFFICINE’s database?

Yes, read-only, and we never write to it. We also check the bordereau counter on every poll to detect drift between what CHIFA billed and what you believe you deposited.

04

Does my patients’ data go to the internet?

No. Nominative fields — name, CHIFA card number, national ID — have no projector to the cloud: no code exists that could send them. That is a construction constraint, not a setting.

05

What happens if the till PC dies?

The database is encrypted on disk under a key Windows protects for that PC, so the disk alone opens nowhere. The backup is what brings you back — encrypted too, and a restore shows you the file’s contents before anything is overwritten. If you no longer know where your backups are, the recovery screen searches the machine for them.

06

How do I bring my current stock across?

Through a CSV or Excel export from your current logiciel: you map the columns, review the lines and apply. The national medicines catalogue already ships inside the binary, so only your quantities, batches and expiry dates have to go in.

07

Do I need a special printer?

No. An 80 mm thermal printer gives you the ticket and the drawer kick; without one, the same ticket prints as A5 through the browser. An officine with no thermal printer is a supported configuration, not a fault.

08

Do you do promotions and loyalty on medicines?

No, and it is not a prioritisation call. Décret 92-276 fixes a medicine’s public price: a discount engine on medicines is not a feature we deferred, it is one we may not build.

09

Is there a drug-interaction check?

Not yet, and we would rather say so. A partial check teaches the pharmacist to trust a verification that mostly does not fire — worse than no check at all. We will open it when we hold a dataset whose provenance we can name and whose coverage we can state.
