For physiotherapists

A physio referral is ten sessions.

A physiotherapy practice does not book an appointment: it books ten, twice a week, and the patient moves three of them. Doctavie creates the whole series at once, keeps track of what has been done, and follows you to the patient's home when they are the one who cannot travel.

What you get

A diary that counts in series, not in appointments

A physiotherapist's book is not a list of appointments, it is a series. Ten prescribed sessions, two a week, a patient who moves the fourth and forgets the seventh — and a paper book that can no longer say, in week six, how many are left. Doctavie holds the series: you create it once, it fills the diary on the right dates, and what has been done stays marked.

The series, not the appointment

You pick the start date, the cadence — weekly, every other week, monthly — and the number of sessions, from two to twelve. The dates are previewed before they are created, then enter the diary in one go. Each one stays an ordinary appointment afterwards, movable or cancellable on its own.

The length follows the treatment

An initial assessment does not run as long as a maintenance session. Each session carries its own length — 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes — and the slot is booked at that length, not at the practice default.

The chart between two sessions

History, the original referral, what you wrote last time. At the sixth session you do not reopen a blank page to remind yourself why the patient first came.

A freed slot does not stay empty

A cancellation the day before leaves a thirty-minute hole nobody fills. The waitlist offers that slot to the next patient instead of losing it.

Travelling is part of the job

The day after a joint replacement, an elderly patient, someone bed-bound. Home visits are a consultation mode you switch on in your settings, with your area and your own call-out fee — and the patient who books enters their address, which reaches you with the appointment.

What the month produced

Sessions attended, sessions missed, what was collected and what is still owed. The end-of-month statement is built as you go, not on the last Sunday of the month.

Getting started

From sign-up to the first series

  1. 01

    Get verified

Upload your registration number and your ID, and pick "Physiotherapy" as your specialty. Verification is done by hand.

  2. 02

    Configure

Your hours, your fees, and your visit reasons — assessment, rehabilitation, maintenance session — each with its own length.

  3. 03

    Create the series

Open the patient's chart, choose the cadence and the number of sessions, check the proposed dates, confirm. The diary is filled.

  4. 04

    Follow it

Each session moves to the next state on its own. What was pushed back is visible, and so is what is still to come.

Doctavie Console

The phone is the front door. The Console is the back of house — the web workspace where doctors, pharmacists, laboratories, imaging centres and the platform team do the work that keeps the loop honest. No app store, no install: sign in and run your practice.

Every account is verified by hand before it goes live. Patients use the app — the Console is for the people who deliver care.

Start free, upgrade as you grow. Pay monthly, or save two months a year by paying annually. Patients always use Doctavie for free — they only pay per consultation.

Series

Twelve sessions, three cadences, and a preview before you commit.

A series is not a subscription: it is a batch of real appointments, created at once and editable one by one. You see the list of dates before they exist, and if the fourth lands on a public holiday you move it without touching the other eleven.

Software that counts in appointments takes from a physiotherapist the one thing they need to know: how many sessions are left, and which ones were done.

Worth knowing

Questions physiotherapists ask

01

Can I create ten sessions at once?

Yes: from two to twelve sessions, at weekly, fortnightly or monthly cadence. You see the dates before confirming, and each then becomes an ordinary appointment you can move or cancel individually.

02

Is physiotherapy a specialty at sign-up?

Yes. It is in the specialty list, your public profile shows it, and the directory files you under it — by specialty and by wilaya, with a page per city.

03

How do home visits work?

You switch them on in your settings, with your area and your call-out fee, which is separate from the in-practice price. The patient enters their address when booking and you receive it with the appointment. They never see your radius — only whether you can come.

04

Does this replace my accounting software?

No, and we do not claim it does. Doctavie holds the diary, the series, the chart and the session tracking. If your books run elsewhere, they keep running there.
