The software keeps working. Your till, your stock and your register are on your own machine, in an encrypted database you can export whenever you like. What switches off are the network features. You cannot be held hostage.
Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, at no cost. And you can go all the way back to the free plan without losing any of your data.
Each plan includes a number of personal Doctavie accounts, the titulaire included. Not to be confused with counter logins: on the station every employee has their own PIN and their own trace in the journal, uncapped and on every plan.
